[ There's no response for a few minutes, which probably isn't exactly the best time for Gin. She had not expected this. She heard he was in prison before her concert, so she knew going in that he wouldn't be able to make it. She was disappointed - moreso than she's willing to admit to herself - but she doesn't blame him for it. She was just giving him shit and getting him back for opening up with accusations when he texted her a couple of weeks ago - though, in her case, she was using it as a cover for checking up on him because she was worried about him. (Nico that's exactly what he was doing too.)

She doesn't feel bad for it, however bad Gin is feeling, because honestly it takes a lot to make Nico feel guilty about giving people shit. But she is feeling too emotional to reply right away. She doesn't get a lot of positive acknowledgement of her passion, particularly as directly as this, and she really wasn't expecting it coming from Gin.

It's not like she doesn't have people supporting her. Her concert earlier in the day was even moderately successful, with a decently sized crowd mixed between actual fans and people curious about this different style of performance. She has other members from ALASTAIR earnestly supporting her, both backstage and in the crowd. But the other members of μ's aren't here. On stage, she's alone and sometimes, it reminds her of how it was before she joined μ's. Things looked promising at one point then, too, but it hadn't lasted.

It would have been nice to have someone tell her they could see it in who she was back then. ]
