[ He says he's seen what these people do -- she has an idea. If it is anything like the asylum, it's only strengthening her desire to get him out quicker. But she knows she can't be impulsive, it would put him in danger, too. It's terrible that she has to wait and she hates it. He can't see it now, but she's pacing her room, gripping the vorpal blade. It takes a long time for her to respond. She doesn't want to get into the ten years she was held in Rutledge. ]

You need not tell me what captors are capable of. If it is meant to be a determent, it is having the opposite effect.
