[ Honestly, Vash asked for help out of desperation. He's already nearly started a fire once today while trying to cook. But, considering that he's done more fishing here than he's done in his life, he really needs to learn how to cook things.
So he's enlisted Gintoki's help.
By the time his friend arrives, Vash is in the middle of sweeping up the remains of spilled (and inedible) muck that was probably food at one point. He just grins sheepishly at Gintoki when he enters. ]
Hey. Uh. I guess we're starting from square one? I haven't had much luck.
[ It's probably obvious by the way soot is smudged on his face and his hair is mussed. Don't ask what he's been doing, he doesn't know. ]
[is that muck or nut.... Naturally, Gintoki does put on a scowling face, but that might just be Gintoki's overall demeanor. You never know with this guy.
He settles his hands on his hips, keeping a short distance from Vash before one hand lifts to pinch the bridge of his nose. ]
[ He turns his head in a nod towards the glass pan that also seems to be full of a blackened brick. The glass? broken. Ruined forever. Vash will probably pay dearly for it if its owner catches wind. But he's not worried about that right now. ]
I should probably stick to things that don't need heat to cook, huh? Hahaha.
[ The laughter is strained, a little embarrassed. But he doesn't seem phased by Gintoki's grouchy demeanor. ]
