[ It's not really in Kida's nature to tease at moments like this--she might puff at him a bit about it later, if ever he tries to convince her that he's not soft--but she's actually quite delighted to hear it.

Ninat can feel his affection welling up, almost literally as his brain fuses with endorphin release. She rather likes him right back, mostly because he doesn't fear her, also because he's using two hands to scratch her. What an excellent human being. The more he scratches the more relaxed she gets, and eventually her mouth falls open and she makes a low, raspy breathing noise, the tip of her tongue just edging past her teeth.

Her master could lend her to you for the night. She is a good companion, though not very warm.

[ As opposed to a truly warm-blooded animal, that is. Ninat is warm enough for her own sake, but if she stops moving too long she'll start losing heat, though Gin has a fire going so she'll manage. The take-away is: Ninat likes cuddles. Cuddles are great. ]
