Somehow, someway, Gintoki hoped that maybe the goodness he did on Earth would redeem him for all of the bad that he did. In actuality, though, he didn't really care for his own sake. He was on a path for Hell and if he needed to drag down more people who deserved it with him, he would.

Even if Gintoki felt like his body and soul wasn't worth anything anymore, he still knew that he was a good person as he lived on and on for now.

The bad news is actually that this message is late, so I can't give you much time. You would not believe how difficult it is to triangulate spacetime coordinates when you're dealing with temporal data loss. The office is looking like a warzone.

Good news is, you're going home.

_{[ okay, you know what.. he sees those words but he just doesn't really know if he actually believes them. He's enjoyed his stay here, as much as a person can when dealing with two species fighting because their sun went down, the miniature and malicious deer people and their goddesses and how awful that was handled.. he's built a lot of friendships here, as much as he didn't want to admit it at all.

He's been wanting to be back home for awhile now. Back to his stupid home filled with stupid people that he sworn to protect. Edo was his city and he was its guard dog— no being there (well, he-he not being there. He knew there was another Gintoki taking care of things.. or something) was really beginning to break his heart.

Because he missed those that weren't here more than ever. ]}
