First things first: I officially apologize for some of the crass and crude behavior this character gives off— he sometimes comes across as kinda sexist too. He'll casually talk about things he probably shouldn't, and picks his nose, throws up a lot, etc. I'm really not shamed to write any of this stuff, but if you're uncomfortable with some of his crudeness, let me know! ONWARD: 4TH WALL BREAKING ▶

Gintama is a very, very, 4th wall breaking series. Gintoki takes part in this regularly, referencing the show/series/manga and is self aware they are characters and that he is the protagonist of a Shounen JUMP. He also will reference other mangas and series and... pretty much anything. He also might even recognize your character, especially if they are from a popular Japanese series. Feel free to let me know if this isn't your cup of tea.

A little late to this but you're 100% free to fourth wall Gilgamesh to your heart's content! He suffers that sort of thing pretty well (and may engage in some of it himself, depending) so I don't mind at all.

I'd rather he not be told he's fictional, but one of the demons in Raidou's games regularly breaks the fourth wall (e.g. threatening to delete your save data in the first game, praising Raidou for improving the game mechanics in the second), so chances are Raidou would just ignore it if Gintoki does it.

On a side note, Raidou and Gintoki share a voice actor.

i already okayed the 4th walling in general but i figured i'd come on over and expand a bit!

i'm totally cool with gintoki referencing or remarking about everything in bleach canon (anime or manga, though i play keigo from the manga specifically) except anything after the fullbring/the lost agent arc. basically... i don't really want any references to the tybw arc or the epilogue! i do a full stop at lost agent arc for his canon point, so i don't really wanna navigate around things that happen in his future, etc!

this is all, of course, provided that... you read all of bleach and know what i'm talking about HAHAHA but yeah! if you have questions, lmk!
